This summer, Disney Plus will debut in 42 new countries and territories across three continents.

Expanding in the Summer

Disney is launching its streaming service Disney Plus in 42 countries and 11 territories, the company announced on Wednesday. The expansion is a massive step as the streamer looks to maintain the pressure on its rivals.

Here’s a full list of the countries where Disney Plus will launch:

Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, Morocco, North Macedonia, Oman, Palestine, Poland, Qatar, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Vatican City, and Yemen.

The 11 territories include:

The Faroe Islands, French Polynesia, French Southern Territories, St. Pierre and Miquelon Overseas Collective, Aland Islands, Sint Maarten, Svalbard & Jan Mayen, British Island Ocean Territory, Gibraltar, Pitcairn Islands, and St. Helena.

Disney Plus launched in November 2019. Since then, it has grown its base to include 118.1 million active subscribers, according to the company’s fiscal Q4 2021 reports. That figure puts the service some way behind rival Netflix, with 222 million subscribers.

As of yet, Disney has not announced launch dates, subscription plans, or prices.
