Microsoft is constantly reinventing itself. The company released its latest console Xbox Series X in November 2020.

Now, the corporation wants to avail its cloud gaming service to iPhones, iPads, and Windows PCs in 22 countries. Doing so will eliminate the need for players to stream games

The experiment will start on April 20th, 2021 and gamers will have about 100 games at their disposal, including Halo, Fallout 4, and Grand Theft Auto V.

Although Windows 10 PCs, tablets, and Apple phones are the only operating systems in this beta test, the company hopes to expand to more OSs in the future.

During this test, Microsoft will receive feedback from the different participants to help improve the user experience. Another goal will be to provide a consistent experience to gamers across the platforms.

If you’re a Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member, you’ll be amongst the first people to get an invite to play. If you’re not an Ultimate member yet, Microsoft currently has a $1 offer for a month. After this initial month, it will charge $10 instead of the usual $14 for a pass.

So, what do users need to play?

Players will need a USB-connected controller and compatible Bluetooth. Alternatively, gamers can use custom touch controls, but note that not all 50 games will be available to play this way. If you’re unsure whether you can play using your device, please check the Xbox support hub
