The rodent has been trading crypto live on Twitch since June this year.
An Entertaining Project
Mr. Goxx is the “light-hearted side project” of two German men, who insist on remaining anonymous.
His name is a reference to Mt Got, which used to be one of the top crypto exchanges globally. The company, however, got compromised. As a result, hundreds of thousands of bitcoins got stolen and the exchange went bankrupt.
But the rodent doesn’t seem to be following in Mt Got’s footsteps.
Rich as a Crypto-Hamster
Mr. Goxx had a rough start. He even almost became as poor as a church mouse.
The rodent began its cryptocurrency journey on the 12th of June. During the first month, Goxx Capital lost 7.3%.
As of the 27th of September, however, the hamster’s performance is up 19.41%.
The Trading Office
Mr. Goxx buys and sells crypto from his tiny office. His owners attached it to his cage and aptly named it the “Goxx box”.
To choose a currency, the rodent gets on his wheel. Then, he goes through one of the two tunnels in his office – “buy” and “sell”.

If he chooses the first one, he makes a $20 purchase. But if he goes through the “sell” one, he spends all of his holdings. This is thanks to electronics wired to the Goxx box.
Every time the rodent goes into his office, a live stream begins on Twitch. His fans get notified via Twitter.
