Following companies like Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony, Facebook’s Oculus will host its own display on April 21st. It will be the first event that the company has ever held. Fans can’t wait to see the platform’s stellar games and what else is in store!
The virtual headset firm plans to stream the occasion on Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube at 6 PM ET that same day.
The exhibition will announce game updates and videos of upcoming titles to audiences in Japan and the United States of America. It will also broadcast news about some projects that Oculus has been working on behind the scenes.
Some developers that will participate in the occasion are Ready At Dawn, Cloudhead Games, and ILMxLAB. Also, expect to see Lone Echo 11, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy Edge, and Pistol Whip news.
This comes as tradeshows by organizations like E3 were notably absent from the scene in 2020, which left many gamers out in the cold. The organization has been at the forefront of helping exhibitors bring game demos, accessories, and related products to wholesalers and retailers to reach the end-user.
As you may know, E3 has been holding annual galas for years, and understandably, someone needs to fill that gap. Oculus is ready to keep the ball rolling.
With statistics showing that there are 171 000 000+ virtual reality gamers globally, Oculus hopes to keep them entertained throughout the pandemic.
The demand for independent VR gadgets is also likely to higher by 16 times by 2022. Oculus has been doing a great job by providing players with top-of-the-range equipment. Some of its famous and fabulous headsets include the Oculus Quest VR, Oculus Rift X, and Oculus Go.
