Yesterday, Nacon announced the first-ever Terminator game featuring an open world.
Nacon is working on a new official Terminator open-world survival game. It is coming to both PC and console.
As the lack of information suggests, the new game is still in the early stages of production. The publisher, however, has shared some important details.
This will be the first open-world survival game in the Terminator universe, and it’ll focus on “an original story that builds on the events of the official films.” It will be set in a time period between Judgment Day and John Connor’s rebellion. Players will assume the role of nuclear apocalypse survivors fighting to stay alive.
The press release from the publisher came with a brief teaser. The video includes no gameplay but shows the most popular fictional AI from the future, a T-800 model Terminator, hunting for human prey.
The game does not have an official name yet, and the publisher still refers to it as Terminator Survival Project. Also, Nacon provided no official release date.
Most gaming enthusiasts are already familiar with the company’s Terminator work from its 2019 first-person shooter Terminator: Resistance. The company is also currently working on a new RoboCop game.
