On Thursday, fans got to enjoy Sony’s PlayStation Showcase livestream, which introduced some of the biggest games coming to PS5.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Gets a Remake
Fan-favorite Star Wars role-playing game is getting a next-gen remake. While there have been rumors about it for some time, this is the first official confirmation.
It will be available for PS5 and PC.
Marvel’s Universe New Additions
Insomniac, the studio behind Spiderman, is working on a sequel, featuring Venom. It will be out in 2023.
But that’s not all from the world of superheroes. Gamers can also expect another exciting title - Wolverine.
Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online Delayed
Not all announcements, however, were good - Grand Theft Auto V is facing a significant delay. The game is pushed back for March 2022.
The new standalone version - GTA Online, will also be available in the same time frame. Fans will be able to get it for free during the first three months after the official launch.
Users also got to enjoy a trailer for Eidos Montreal's Guardians of the Galaxy.
God of War: Ragnarok Gets a Trailer
God of War’s sequel the sequel got a new trailer, showing what trouble are Kratos and Atreus stirring up.
Bethesda Introduces Two New Titles
Microsoft’s Bethesda took part with two new titles.
Viewers got to see the Ghostwire: Tokyo trailer. It will be available in the spring of 2022 for both PS5 and PC.
Bethesda also showed the trailer for the recently-launched Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt. It’s a free battle royale game, already available for PC and coming to PS5 later this year.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection
Naughty Dog's Uncharted 4 is coming to PC! Along with Lost Legacy, the two games are being remastered for consoles and PCs. They will be part of the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which will be out in 2022.
To sum up, fans can expect a lot of exciting titles in the following years, both for PC gaming and consoles.
