What Is FlexiSPY
FlexiSPY is a tracking and monitoring app that allows you to secretly and remotely spy on a target device’s online and offline activities.
Also, it is one of the most feature-rich software on the market.
Let’s have a deeper look at it.
This app lets you view and record calls, see text and social media messages, track location, and even take pictures and videos. All of this without the phone/iPad/computer’s owner detecting you.
Below we’ll examine the features more closely.
This is one of the most commonly used features of the FlexiSPY app.
It allows you to discreetly listen in on your target device’s phone conversation. You can tap into a call in progress. This applies to incoming and outgoing calls and works on both iPhone and Android devices.
Many FlexiSPY reviews emphasize the software’s call recording feature, and for good reason.
You can use it to tape conversations from the target phone. The function gives you the option to record all of the conversations on it or just the ones with specific contacts. To listen to them, simply log in to the app and select a call from the FlexiSPY dashboard. You can do this anytime.
Note that this is one of the few monitoring apps that currently provide this function. The law now prevents US-based spy apps from offering call recording features.
That’s pretty impressive as it is, but let’s see what’s next.
The FlexiSPY app also features ambient recording. This function gives you the chance to activate the target device’s microphone even when it’s not in use, and listen to/record its ambient surroundings. This is especially beneficial for people who want to listen to real-life conversations.
You can even schedule a recording with a set start date and taping frequency.
Many reliable phone tracking apps come with location tracking, and FlexiSPY does, too.
FlexiSPY includes a live map that tracks the target phone’s exact GPS location at all times. You can see exactly where your kid or partner (for example) is and even where they have been over a given period.
And that’s not all.
This tracking feature also allows you to create location boundaries. Anytime the person you are tracing crosses them, you’ll get a notification alert.
Text and Social Media Tracking
Once you install the FlexiSPY spy phone software, you can conveniently track all text messages the target device sends and receives.
The best thing about this tracking function is that it isn’t just for SMS. It can track messages from iMessage and a variety of other chatting platforms, including but not limited to:
- Facebook Messenger
The cheaper FlexiSPY plans let you view texts, images, videos, and call logs from these applications. The more expensive enable you to listen in and record phone calls made from these apps.
Remote Camera Capture
FlexiSPY is practically the only spy software that allows you to control the target device’s camera and take pictures and record video without the owner knowing.
You can access the footage and photos from the FlexiSPY dashboard.
At the time of writing this FlexiSPY review, the keylogger is a relatively new feature on the app, but it seems to be attracting a lot of positive feedback from users.
It records any passwords, usernames, or codes typed on the target device.
This means that you can access your target’s social media login details and any password-protected websites they visit.
You may even get the pass to unlock the device, if you install the app before the user sets it.
This feature is a part of the FlexiSPY Extreme package but can also be bought separately if you don’t want to pay for this more expensive plan.
Alerts and Keywords
Suppose there are particular phone numbers that you don’t want your partner contacting. Or any age-inappropriate keywords relating to drugs, pornography, or swearing that you don’t want your child to search for. Maybe your employees deal with sensitive data and you need to know if they modify the files.
In these cases, you’ll appreciate this feature.
This FlexiSPY app function lets you get an alert when a specific action occurs. For example, when someone searches for phone numbers and keywords, someone moves or deletes a file, etc. This feature is great if you don’t want to monitor a phone or computer all the time but want to be aware of any inappropriate behavior.
FlexiSPY gives you next-level control over your target’s device applications. You can view all the apps on the target device. You can also close or block them if you deem them inappropriate. Again, all this can be done discreetly and remotely, so you don’t need to worry about being revealed.
Remote Update and Upgrade
What makes the FlexiSPY software so convenient is that you only need physical access to the target device once — to install it. From then on, you can control the program without ever having to touch your child’s phone, iPad, or computer ever again.
How to Set up FlexiSPY
FlexiSPY’s setup process can be complex if you’re not very tech-savvy.
Once you purchase a plan from the FlexiSPY website, you can move on to installing the app on either an Android or an iOS device.
If the target device is iOS-based, you’ll need to first jailbreak it. This is a fairly complicated process if you don’t know what you’re doing.
If the device is Android-based, then you have a much easier task at hand. You can simply install the FlexiSPY phone tracker directly to the device and start monitoring immediately.
However, this simple process gives you access to only a limited number of functions.
If you want to access all of FlexiSPY’s features for Android, you’ll need to root the device. This is a complicated process that involves data back-up, setting up the device and a specific software. There are tutorials online, yet some may still find it difficult.
But don’t worry, there’s good news!
If you don’t have any rooting or jailbreaking knowledge, FlexiSPY offers a service that connects you with a qualified technician who can jailbreak the target device for you. All you need is to have it in hand and a computer with an internet connection. This service costs $39.99.
Once you install and activate the software, you can start monitoring around the clock using a computer.
The FlexiSPY app support services have earned a #1 spot in its industry.
And for good reason.
If you ever run into any issues, FlexiSPY offers phone and live chat support 24 hours a day, six days a week. The support team is very knowledgeable and helpful and responds quite quickly.
In addition, the vendor also gives users access to the rich knowledge base on its website. There you’ll find step-by-step tutorials, answers, and solutions to common issues.
FlexiSPY vs mSpy
This is a very common comparison in the world of spy software, as both FlexiSPY and mSpy offer broad tracking capabilities. But which is better?
They both require some form of rooting or jailbreaking. Just like FlexiSPY, you can access mSpy’s basic features for Android devices just by putting it on the phone. However, if you want to use its more advanced features, you need rooting. That said, mSpy also offers professional rooting services for a small fee.
mSpy lets you monitor Android and iOS devices running on version 7 and newer. FlexiSPY, on the other hand, offers such services for PCs, Macs, and iPads, too, so it takes the prize.
As mentioned, both the mSpy and FlexiSPY spy phone software offer a great selection of features.
Here they are:
|Social Media Tracking||✓||✓|
|Remote Camera Capture||✓||–|
Both are very similarly priced, with mSpy starting at $29.99 and FlexiSPY at $29.95. mSpy’s most expensive plan, the Premium, costs $199.92 per year, and FlexiSPY charges $149 per year for its Premium and $349 per year for its Extreme plan.
The FlexiSPY phone tracker offers 3 plans for Android and iPhone devices – Lite, Premium, and Extreme.
Lite is the cheapest at $29.95/month and Extreme the most expensive at $199 for three months.
- Lite includes the essentials – you can listen to calls, track location, see the browsing activity, etc.
- Premium widens the tracking scope. It gives you all of Lite’s features plus the chance to listen to calls and read messages on chat services like Facebook Messenger, Skype, WhatsApp, Viber, Instagram, etc., and more.
- Extreme is the plan that contains all those features that make FlexiSPY an unbelievable spy software. It provides access to call recording, ambient recording, and remote camera capture (plus all of the features of the cheaper plans, and other functions, as well).
FlexiSPY has a separate plan for monitoring iPads, and for PCs and Macs, too.
The first gives you the chance to use all the cool stuff – ambient recording and remote camera capture plus more. The latter – to reach popular chat services, browser activity, track USB activity, etc.
Unfortunately, there is no free plan or a free trial period. It does offer a 10-day money-back guarantee, though.
FlexiSPY Review – Verdict
There are many things to love about FlexiSPY.
First, it comes with a wide variety of monitoring features, some of which you can’t find on any other spy app.
It acts as a keylogger, lets you record phone calls, view text and social media conversations, track location, and set keyword alerts.
Most impressive though is that it allows you to access the target device’s microphone to listen in to conversations, even when the phone is not in use. As we’ve already mentioned in this FlexiSPY review, the app has rightfully earned its number one spot on the market.
Just like with any other software, though, this one has its drawbacks.
For one, its installation process is very taxing and requires a good amount of jailbreaking knowledge. While the vendor offers a paid jailbreaking/rooting service, this will make the software more expensive, and it’s not cheap to begin with.
FlexiSPY also lacks some crucial features that a lot of its competitors have, including website and phone number blocking, as you’ve seen in the FlexiSPY vs mSpy comparison. However, the manufacturer continuously improves the program, so we hope that the next update will include these features.
Overall, the difficult installation process aside, this is a great app for keeping an eye on your child, loved one, or employees on every step they take. On- and offline.
FlexiSPY is a great phone and computer monitoring software. Our FlexiSPY review shows that it offers very accurate tracking features and lets you monitor a device’s activities remotely.
Once the app has been installed on the target phone, you can immediately hide it. It becomes 100% undetectable, meaning that you can monitor all you want without the device owner knowing.
Unfortunately, you can’t install FlexiSPY remotely. You need to have the target device in your hands to install the app. However, once you do it, you will never need to access it again. You would be able to stop, pause, uninstall, and update the app remotely.
This all depends on what you’re looking for in a spy app. Both offer the usual tracking features that most spy software does. But they also have their unique offerings as well. For example, mSpy offers website blocking, while FlexiSPY provides call recording.
That said, we’ve read many mSpy and FlexiSPY reviews, and more users prefer FlexiSPY.
