The above Shopify Plus subscription fee is just the minimum and applies only to standard setups and integrations. If your online store’s migration process involves more complexities, you may need to go with the variable fee option.

Payment Options and Refund Policy

Shopify accepts credit cards and PayPal. And you can pay 1, 2, or 3 years in advance and knock up to 25% off. However, there’s no money-back guarantee.

The company’s array of self-help resources is among the best I’ve seen.

It has a vast knowledge base with a reliable search function. If you can’t find answers in the Help Center, you can consult the FAQ sections of its different web pages. And the company’s blog includes step-by-step guides on various topics.

Shopify vs Wix

As an ecommerce platform, Wix closely resembles Shopify’s feature set. I won’t go into detail about the similarities between the two. But I’ll say that both have quote-based enterprise-grade plans and facilitate outsourcing.

Also, both ecommerce hosts can help you get started in dropshipping. They support social networks and marketplaces as sales channels and don’t put a lid on the number of salable goods.

However, Wix can’t hook you up with independent wholesalers the way Shopify does.  

When it comes to freebies, Wix has a more diverse media library. Plus, it throws in one year’s worth of custom domain registration, making it one of the top Shopify alternatives.
