Gone are the days when you had to rely on other people to create a website . Thanks to web builders, you can do everything on your own. You can now go from having a blank page to owning a striking site in minutes.

Ucraft is here to lift the weight off your shoulders. It offers 80+ pre-built templates, ecommerce integrations, and multilingual support - the latter is often praised in Ucraft customer reviews. What’s more, you get an easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface.

It comes with unmetered bandwidth, ideal for dealing with thousands of visitors without worrying about cost. And for the best part, there are no limitations whatsoever. Of course, you can also create an unlimited number of webpages.

What else can it offer? That’s what you’re about to find out in this Ucraft review

What Is Ucraft?

Ucraft was found in 2014 by a team of passionate web designers. Before that, the group ran Bang2Joom, which offered custom-made templates for clients. The idea later grew to include website building and hosting.

Unlike the competition, Ucraft places a strong emphasis on simplicity. It provides a clutter-free and easy-to-use dashboard. All you need to do is drag items into position for editing. When done, you can click ‘Publish’ and your site will go live.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

It has a wide variety of plans for hosting your website. These include Pro, Pro Shop, and Unlimited. For reselling, you can go with PayGo for custom rebranding.

At present, over 360,000 customers use the platform globally. Ucraft reviews praise the low price and ease of use.

Here’s what else you can expect:

Ucraft Features

Here’s an overview of the outstanding Ucraft features

Ucraft Website Builder

With the Ucraft website builder, you can create a website with zero coding skills. It offers a clean dashboard with all the tools you need to get started. You get design options, fonts, SEO, and more. It surely gets the job done.

The application works on the concept of content blocks, used by designers. For a start, you will find pre-built ones at your disposal. While they provide a quick fix, we find them pretty basic. If you want more, you can build one from scratch.

The Ucraft builder has effects to add eye-catchy animations to all of your site’s contents. It ranges from basic ones such as fading to more advanced like parallax expressions. On the downside, we found it challenging to use.

The progress bar breaks down everything into basic, advanced, and additional steps. You can always refer to it to check for areas that require fixing.

Ucraft Templates

Ucraft templates provide a perfect way for establishing your online presence fast. You can choose from 80+ free pre-built themes. They cover a wide range of industries such as blogging, ecommerce, restaurants, and more. You can edit them to your liking - swap the logo, add/remove content, animate, and so on.

Unlike Squarespace, switching templates on Ucraft is impossible. This means that you have to select one carefully. From here, you can always use the builder to customize everything to your liking.

Ucraft Domains

All paying customers get an Ucraft domain for free on the annual plans. As for the rest, they will require you to connect one or make a purchase. On the downside, the search tool for domains is hardly the best. It only checks for available names based on your keyword, unlike GoDaddy that gives you tons of suggestions.

The price is also on the higher side. It costs over $15/year to register a top-level web address. Other than that, the vendor allows you to set an Ucraft-branded sub-domain on their bill. It’s perfect for your site during the development phase. You can swap it with a custom domain once you’re ready to go live.

Ucraft Logo Maker

Ucraft has a logo maker, with a total of three designer tools - icons, shapes, and fonts. Using the feature is incredibly easy.

While the icons and fonts are feature-rich, the shapes are lacking. You only have the option of using four figures. It’s also impossible to add animations. All in all, it takes less than 15 minutes to create something appealing.

Ucraft Ecommerce

Ucraft shines when it comes to ecommerce. You will find a wide variety of tools for accelerating sales. These include the likes of store management, shipment, and marketing. And depending on your plan, you can add up products

You can sell across multiple channels. You can use it to create mobile-friendly stores on both Facebook and Instagram. Once complete, it will automatically export all your products to social media

You can also sell your items on Amazon and eBay. You can add them to any of these platforms with just a single click. What’s more, it supports real-time synchronization of stock in your inventory. A definite user-favorite, as seen in Ucraft reviews.

But it doesn’t stop there.

It has advanced analytics for tracking sales from each channel. This can give you valuable insights on where to push products. You can set up marketing campaigns straight from your Ucraft dashboard.

Collaboration

Working with team members is made easy on Ucraft. You can easily add more people to your account. You can also set different levels of access. This includes administrators, editors, designers, and marketers. There’s no limit on the number of users that you can add.

Such a feature is a must-have, especially to business owners. You can use it to assign roles as a way of minimizing conflict. Sadly, you can’t keep watch of every move that each team member makes. The software lacks activity logs.

Ucraft Mobile Apps

Managing your business on the go is super simple with Ucraft hosting. You can get a mobile app for Android and iOS. You can manage products, process orders, and track sales

For our Ucraft review, we downloaded the Android version, and it worked wonderfully.

The app additionally alerts you of events that need your attention. This includes customer requests, stock availability, abandoned carts, and more.

Ucraft Pros and Cons

Ucraft has a lot of pros and some cons. Take a look:

Easy to Use Website Builder – Pro

The Ucraft drag-and-drop builder makes website design feel like child’s play.

You will find a block editor for easy placement of items on web pages. All you have to do is drag the element that you need into position. From here, you can customize it to your liking.

You can design your site from scratch. Despite being tiresome, it gives you the freedom to do things your way. The other alternative is to work with any of the pre-built Ucraft website examples

Advanced users are also not left out. The vendor has provided a separate section for adding custom codes. The competition usually only offers HTML and CSS. With the Ucraft builder, you can also use JavaScript

Feature-Rich Ecommerce Extensions – Pro

Ucraft ecommerce offers a wide variety of extensions for enhancing the shopping experience. This includes apps for promotions, coupons, giveaways, and more. An app for live chat is available too for engaging with clients at all times.

The TrustedSite extension is a great bonus. It works by including an additional layer of security to the top of your site. You also get a special badge to show customers that your store is secure.

On the downside, you only get about 25 Ucraft integrations. The good thing is the majority of them are free. The premium ones will set you back upwards of $100/month. To be honest, that’s pretty expensive.

Abandoned Cart Saver – Pro

Research shows that up to 75% of shoppers abandon their carts. This is due to several issues that are largely beyond control - website errors, internet downtimes, credit card issues, and more. Furthermore, the majority hardly remember to go back and complete the purchase.

To address this, Ucraft hosting provides a recovery feature for abandoned carts. It sends email reminders to customers that leave pending orders. The notification also allows customers to contact you back.

Free Custom Domain Registration – Pro

A custom web address is a sure way of establishing your online presence. While most hosts charge for that, Ucraft gives it to you for free. However, you must purchase an annual subscription to benefit from this offer.

The vendor also allows customers to purchase and connect domains from third-party hosts. Another thing - you can use Ucraft’s sub-domains at no extra cost. We were skeptical when reading about this in Ucraft reviews, but we can confirm it’s true.

Almost Identical Content Blocks – Con

Ucraft website builder has limited options when it comes to customization of content blocks. You will find pre-built templates that are easy to work with. Still, creating something unique is almost impossible. Almost anything that you build looks similar to other templates on the platform.

On the bright side, you can use custom codes to enhance the layout. While that sounds great, you need to have advanced coding skills. It includes programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. On the bright side, you can find many online learning platforms that can help if you are unfamiliar with them.

It’s Not User Friendly – Con

Even though it’s easy-to-use, the builder isn’t user-friendly. There are a few bugs and areas that need streamlining. The effects, for example. We did face some challenges while trying to use it judging from Ucraft reviews, we weren’t the only ones. For the most part, it requires you to repeat a step for the animation to apply. It all loads slowly.

The application lacks protection from accidental clicks. Usually, web builders do require you to approve when exiting a feature. But with this solution, it takes one wrong click to find yourself back to square one.

Lacks Activity Logs – Con

You can add an unlimited number of users and assign roles. Despite being useful for collaboration, the tool lacks an activity tracker.

We do hope that Ucraft hosting fixes this in the near future. It will be useful in tracing and fixing faults on time.

Lacks Photo Editor – Con

One thing that we were unable to find in this Ucraft review is a full photo editor. The vendor only provides essential tools for editing. It includes color overlays, animation effects, and cropping. Other than that, it will require you to edit photos using third-party apps.

While that’s not a complaint, its competitors offer much more. Take a look at Zyro - it uses artificial intelligence to change backgrounds on photos. Aside from that, you can also use it to add text and watermarks to photographs. Overall, great for all your graphic design needs.

Ucraft Customer Support

Ucraft offers customer support round the clock. You can choose from a ticketing system and live chat. One thing we did notice is a bot that books your requests during busy times. It provides users with quick answers to general queries. For complex issues, you can speak to a live agent.

We asked a few questions and took up to five minutes to receive a response. Regardless of the waiting time, the experience was excellent. We found the staff friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to offer quick solutions.

Most Ucraft reviews also praise the host’s knowledge base. It offers hundreds of articles with step-by-step guides for resolving issues. You can always use it to address common challenges that users face.

Who Is Ucraft Best For?

Essentially, with Ucraft, you can create anything from simple blogs to complex ecommerce sites. To make it easy, you’ll find free templates based on different industries. Whatever your industry - restaurants, healthcare, sports, fashion, etc.- Ucraft is a good option. It’s also great if you need a personal website.

Ucraft Review - Verdict

Ucraft builder is an excellent choice for both beginners and advanced users. This includes first-time bloggers, experts, and businesses. Its standout features include an easy-to-use drag-and-drop builder, free templates, and unlimited bandwidth.

The collaboration tools are what you will love to use the most. You can add colleagues whenever your agency grows. What’s more, it doesn’t have any limitations - great for companies on a tight budget!

The support is great. While it takes around five minutes to get a reply, they’re still friendly and helpful. They also make follow-ups via email to ensure that you’re okay.

True, some of the competition offers more extras, but if you’re not on a mission to rule over the Galaxy, this vendor is good.
