EaseUs is an international software company established on August 12, 2004. The company caters to more than two million users around the world in more than 160 countries. Their three main products include Data Recovery, Backup and Recovery, and Disk Management.

The data you delete will not automatically remove itself from the physical disk. If you do not overwrite it, you have the option to restore it. Our EaseUs Data Recovery Wizard review will shed light on the most popular features of the solution.

Essential EaseUs Features

Read to learn about the various features of the EaseUs data recovery software:

Three Scanning Modes

The software offers three main scanning modes - quick, deep, and raw.

The quick scanning mode allows you to retrieve certain deleted folders, files, and data via the standard algorithm. The deep scanning mode searches the storage devices by category and recovers almost all files and data, including the ones that the quick scan mode cannot. Keep in mind that it might take a few hours.

The good news is that users can save the scanned results to view them later. They can also pause the scan. Pausing will not affect the scanning pause and scanning will begin from where you left off without any issues.

The raw scanning mode recovers what the deep scanning mode cannot, such as the user’s records.  The software goes through the computer memory clusters and takes more time than the deep scanning mode to recover data and files.

Preview Option before Data and File Recovery

The preview option allows users to review all the available files they can recover before initiating the process. That way you won’t overload your computer with unnecessary files.

Recovers Various File Types

Users can recover various types of data and files from their devices. This includes images, documents, videos, audio files, emails, and more. We found this feature worked swimmingly during our tests for this EaseUs review.

Recovers Accidentally Deleted Files

Users can recover all the files they accidentally delete or lose due to a virus attack.

Formatted Recovery

Disk formatting does not erase the saved files and data it stores, but it only deletes the files and data stored in the address tables. Users can recover the lost data and files after they format their device using the data recovery software.

Retrieves Data and Files from the Empty Recycle Bin

Users can search for certain files and data they want to recover via file type. They can choose the archived data and files they want to restore after they empty their recycling bin.

Recovers Files and Data after a Crashed Operating System

When the operating system crashes, recovering data and files becomes difficult. EaseUs offers a WinPE boot to help users boost their computer and retrieve all the important files and data.

Recovers RAW Partition

Users can recover a raw partition using the data recovery software. If a partition or hard drive becomes RAW, it prevents users from accessing the stored files and data. EaseUs will store the user’s access to it.

Restores Lost Partition

Users can use the data recovery process to restore a partition even if it is completely lost or the computer cannot identify it. One of the best EaseUs features.

Data and File Recovery after a Virus Attack

Virus attacks prevent users from using their computers properly. Users can use the data recovery tool to recover files and data quickly.

Damage to Hard Disk

Users cannot access the corrupt hard drive, but EaseUs allows them to recover data and files without hassle.

EaseUS Speed

EaseUs upload speed and backup speed depend on several factors.

The company states that there is no sure answer on how long it will take to recover or transfer data and files, as it varies from case to case. They give an example of recovering 1 terabyte (TB) of data.

The EaseUs backup speed and upload speed depends on the condition of your hardware, the type of operating system you have, the type and size of the file and data, and the type of service you want. The company states that in only three steps, you can recover everything.

EaseUS Security and Privacy

Most EaseUs reviews, including ours, agree that the data recovery service offers its users a secure solution. The company has adopted the 256-bit SSL. From all of the secure encryption techniques, this is one of the safest encryption and decryption options for files and data. It is far superior to the 128-bit and 192-bit encryption. 256-bit SSL is used in the latest encryption algorithms, technologies, and protocols.

Mobile App

The mobile app is available for both Android and iOS. It can connect with Windows and macOS.

The app allows users to transfer and backup messages, contacts, calendars, voicemails, books, entries, notes, bookmark history, images and videos, and more.

The mobile app can help you create an additional backup. If one backup fails, you can retrieve your files and data from MobiMover.

You can even use the app to transfer data from one device to another device. When the program launches, select the type of transfer you want to start. You have two options:

  • Transfer to this device
  • Transfer to a different device or computer

From there, you can select the type of files you want to move via custom transfer. The mobile app offers a user-friendly interface. The transfer process takes minutes.

You can view all the files and data you have on your device using the app in an organized manner and remove the unwanted files and data to free up extra space, especially on iOS devices.

You will need to purchase a license for commercial use via the EaseUs online store. If you want it for personal and home use, the app is free with no paid in-app purchases.

Interface and Ease of Use

In just three simple clicks, you can recover all your lost and deleted data. You do not require any previous experience. The data recovery program comes with one of the most user-friendly interfaces. The whole process is really really straightforward.

Customer Support

The customer support system is available 24/7. You can reach EaseUs by email or via live chat on the company’s website. You can also fill out a form, with your question or issue regarding the data recovery software. One great thing is that there are several different languages available.

The company states that they protect your personal email address, ensuring it does not leak into the wrong hands.

EaseUS Pricing

The EaseUS free trial version has a file size limit and allows you to recover up to 2GB worth of lost, deleted, and hidden data, but is only available for a limited time and will ask you to upgrade to the paid version.

The paid EaseUS plans include perks such as recovering unlimited data and free upgrades. If you buy the paid version and you do not like it, there is a 30-day money-back guarantee.  Keep in mind some users complained in their EaseUs reviews that the software is a bit tad too expensive for their taste.

EaseUS Review - Verdict

EaseUs is a safe, secure, and effective data recovery program. It helps you recover lost, hidden, and deleted files and data from even a crashed system.

And it honestly does a great job. You can transfer files and data from two different devices at the same time by connecting it to your computer. It is compatible with multiple devices running on macOS, iOS, Windows, and Android. To top it all, it’s easy to use and has a very intuitive interface.

There’s even a free version! True, it has limited options, but it still gets the job done.

The only downside is that if you want to scan the entire hard drive, this data recovery software may not be for you. But as you saw in our EaseUs review, there are numerous other benefits of using this solution.

The software itself is the good. Got 80% of my data back. Support team on chat was very responsive but did not know much what to do and not skillful. Warning!!!! Don’t forget to unsubscribe on your account after you get all data back if you buy 1-month subscription. They will charge you automatically in the next month. I emailed them because I was charged another month, they refused to refund me said that it was stated on the checkout page that I will be charged automatically next month and offer a lifetime subscription instead. Seriously !?! who would want to loss the data and use the program multiple times! I honestly did not see that statement must be because it was not clearly seen. They take the advantage of frustrated people who have lost their data and are in rush through the payment process. Solfware is fine, but the subscription issue is real fraud!!!!
