What Is Tenorshare?

Tenorshare is a software company that launched in 2007. It offers several products for different purposes like:

  • System repairing
  • Password unlocking
  • Data management
  • Whatsapp transferring

However, most Tenorshare reviews praise its data recovery tools, so these are the apps we’ll focus on.

It's important to note that you’ll be able to retrieve lost information only if you haven’t uploaded new data over it.

If you’ve followed this rule, you can easily restore your music, images, videos, PDFs, and system documents on any device.

Tenorshare Features

The software supports multiple operating systems, so there’s Tenorshare for Mac, iOS, Windows, and Android.

Let’s dive in and check out the features for each of them.

UltData for iPhone

Tenorshare has cutting-edge technology to retrieve data from any iOS gadget, plus iCloud and iTunes.

It also doesn’t matter how the loss occurred. Whether it’s jailbreak, accidental deletion, cyberattack, or factory reset, UltData can handle it all.

Most Tenorshare iPhone data recovery reviews rave about its speed, and for a good reason.

It took me about a minute to recover 1GB worth of data!

The tool supports over 35 file types from third-party apps like WhatsApp, Viber, Kik, WeChat, etc. In addition, it can recover 500+ file formats, such as:

  • HTML
  • DOC
  • ZIP
  • XLS
  • PNG

The app also repairs your iOS before recovery and gives you a preview to make sure you’re targeting the correct files. The Tenorshare iPad data recovery solution will let you select what to restore, as well.

Tenorshare UltData - Android

This tool allows you to recover data from different Android versions.

It also offers a secure experience since it doesn’t involve rooting.

Let me explain that:

Usually, Android devices require rooting when using recovery apps to access lost files. That means getting hold of their system codes, leaving them prone to modifications, which could damage them beyond repair.

Luckily, UltData doesn’t involve this interaction, so it leaves your OS intact.

Plus:

Tenorshare data recovery for Android literally takes seconds to restore thousands of images.

What’s more?

It has an enhancement feature that boosts the resolution of recovered images.

In addition, you can use it to bring back WhatsApp videos, audio, attachments, chat stickers, and images without previous backup.

While experimenting with the tool for this Tenorshare Android data recovery review, I also discovered that I could restore my Google Drive

I effortlessly extracted call histories, calendars, and contacts from the repository.

I was also able to selectively recover lost SMSes.

And like the iOS version, I was able to preview everything before recovery.

4DDiG - Windows and Mac

This option provides a secure and versatile approach to data restoration.

On Windows, it supports different file systems, such as:

  • FAT
  • NTFS
  • exFAT

On Mac, on the other hand, it’s compatible with:

  • NTFS
  • HFS
  • APFS

It also works with various file formats like:

  • RAW
  • ZIP
  • WAW
  • and MP4

Tenorshare for Mac and Windows also recovers information from external storages like cameras, flash drives, memory cards, DVDs, CDs, and hard drives.

Same as the mobile versions, it offers a preview to ensure that you quickly reach the files you need.

In addition, 4DDiG comes with both deep and quick scan modes.

The former takes longer to complete, but you can pause and resume it if you need to.

The only downside is you can’t choose which one to run first. The program always starts with a quick scan and proceeds to a deep one if it can’t find suitable files.

Tenorshare for PC comes with a nice list of tips and tricks.

It can help you fix a non-responsive Microsoft Word file, restore Git documents, or recover data from a crashed hard drive.

Reiboot

Even though it’s not exactly a data recovery tool, I couldn’t leave Tenorshare ReiBoot out of this review

Its main function is to repair damaged operating systems, and it works on Android, Windows, iOS, and Mac.

You can put your device into recovery mode with just one click, and, unlike doing it manually, this tool makes the process stress-free and fast.

It repairs a problematic OS without data loss and can fix bugs like update errors, frequent restarts, or lack of notifications.

While researching for this Tenorshare ReiBoot review, I discovered that the solution could help resolve over 150 issues.

Tenorshare Support

Tenorshare’s customer support options are a bit disappointing. The only way to communicate with the team is by submitting a form on the website.

Although the department is available 24/7, it has an up to 48-hour turnaround.

However, it compensates by having a very professional customer service team. The representatives I spoke to were polite, knowledgeable, and willing to help.

In addition, their website has an extensive FAQ section, how-to guides, and tips to provide useful options for self-service.

Ease of Use and Interface

Tenorshare has a simple interface, and you don’t need any technical knowledge to use it.

All I had to do was click on “Recover,” choose a location to save, and that was it.

Additionally, most Tenorshare reviews show that other users enjoy the same smooth experience.

However, if any part of the process confuses you, you can always contact Tenershare’s customer support or view the helpful how-to guides on its website.

Tenorshare Pricing

The Tenorshare data recovery tool has a free version. There’s also a 30-day money-back guarantee for the paid plans.

Here are the rates:

4DDiG

  • For Windows: $49.95 (one month), $55.95 (one year), and $59.95 (lifetime)
  • For Mac: $55.95 (one month), $59.95 (one year), and $69.95 (lifetime)

UltData

  • Android: $45.95 (one month), $49.95 (one year), and $59.95 (lifetime)
  • iOS: $55.95 (one month), $59.95 (one year), and $69.95 (lifetime)

*Note that the pricing above is for one device only. If your business requires more, you can check out the company’s pricing page. It has plans for five to unlimited gadgets for both products.

Tenorshare Review - Verdict

Tenorshare has both strong and weak points.

To begin with, it doesn’t log data, so it's difficult to see what you’ve recovered.

Moreover, the free version limits the amount of data you can recover. For example, the Windows tool only allows recovery up to 100 MB. In comparison, a competitor like EaseUS offers 2 GB worth of data on its free trial.

Nevertheless, Tenorshare is still one of the best data recovery solutions on the market. It’s quick, reliable, and safe.

It’s also lightweight and doesn’t cause performance issues. To add to that, it has a simple interface, so you don’t need technical knowledge to use it.
